S. Deenadayalan of Centre for excellence spoke on the importance of creating employability for the children from municipal and corporation schools so that they get quality vocational education as well as inspirational growth.

Most of the children come from below the poverty line and cannot afford good quality higher education.

It is important to connect them through “learn and earn” with industries to provide employment and employable skills. From 1999 CEO has been working on this model and have tied up with industries like Ashok Leyland, Dr. Reddy’s Lab, KEC, RPG Raychem, CEAT , VKL Spices, MM Forging, Heinz India and few more corporate in the pipeline.

The students are hired through road-shows and school visits in and around the area where the industry is located and are trained in both domain skills and soft skills.

They become a contributing member to the industrial productivity and a continuing education model enhances their growth keeping pace with their aspirations. In the last 13 years where CEO has played a role in the industries , most of the students who have entered into employment as a blue collar worker have become supervisors and managers.

Some of them have migrated abroad or have taken up jobs in other Indian and multi national companies.

By entering into a partnership with AMCC Training, students will get to refine their skills to international standards and enhance their contextual employability skills to further their career ladder.

During the signing of the MOU, Jeff Mazzini,  Managing Director of AMCC Training Group mentioned that he is very proud to be partnering with CEO, who are closely associated with industry and work schools in rural India.

CEO seeks to understand industrial needs and design the courses to ensure the students are employable by the industries.

AMCC training seeks to support CEO on their endeavours by also contributing by up skilling the trainers and assessors and sharing the compliance systems  and processes to ensure the students receives the highest quality training and education.

AMCC Training group is closely working with CBSE, AICTE and the Gujarat Knowledge Society in India and works with partners in Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, South Africa and Vietnam.

Australian vocational education is held as bench mark around the world and is recognized by the OECD, UNESCO and the ILO for its capacity to meet industry needs by providing quality, industry-responsive training and job outcomes across a consistent training platform. Australian VET providers are active in around 50 countries around the world.
