So how do I obtain my Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning By RPL

How do experienced planners obtain their Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning by recognised prior learning pathway without the need to undertake more study and it’s about firstly satisfying the following criteria;

If you have had at least five of the last eight years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry and hold a Diploma of Financial Planning then you may apply to complete this qualification via Recognised Prior Learning.

Entry Requirements
The entry requirement for this qualification is completion of the Financial Services units from the core of the Diploma in Financial Planning in the Financial Services Training Package FNS10.
or
Completion of the sectoral core units and the regulatory unit FNSASIC503ZB Provide advice in Financial Planning from the Diploma in Financial Planning in the Financial Services Training Package FNS04.

Core Units of Competency
• FNSFPL508A Conduct complex financial planning research
• FNSFPL601A Provide technical and professional guidance
• FNSFPL602A Determine client requirements and expectations for clients with complex needs
• FNSFPL603A Provide comprehensive monitoring and ongoing service
• FNSFPL604A Develop complex and innovative financial planning strategies
• FNSFPL605A Present and negotiate complex and innovative financial plans
• FNSFPL606A Implement complex and innovative financial plan
• FNSPRM601A Establish, supervise and monitor practice systems to conform with legislation and regulations

Elective Units of Competency
• FNSIAD501A Provide appropriate services, advice and products to clients
• FNSCUS506A Record and implement client instructions
• FNSINC501A Conduct product research to support recommendations

7 Steps to complete RPL process;
Step 1 Complete the RPL Enrolment Pack application form
Step 2 Provide a certified copy of your statement of attainment for the units of competency required to fulfill the entry requirements
Step 3 Complete the National Recognition Form (if applicable) and attach a certified copy of your certificate or statement of attainment:
• FNSFPL508A Conduct complex financial planning research
• FNSIAD501A Provide appropriate services, advice and products to clients
• FNSCUS506A Record and implement client instructions
• FNSINC501A Conduct product research to support recommendations
Step 4 Submit supporting statement checklists as appropriate to your area of practice, signed by a qualified third party declarer, together with a copy of their qualifications
Step 5 Submit at least one client complex case file and any other evidence to support each unit of competency listed above, together with the Portfolio of evidence matrix
Step 6 Provide two written business references that confirm your experience in the Financial Planning industry
Step 7 Provide a CV showing that you have had at least five of the last eight years’ experience in the Financial Planning industry
Step 8 Upload your RPL application and all required supporting documents to the AAMC Training Group portal for assessment
